Slomšek's pilgrimage takes place on the fourth stage and starts at the birthplace of Anton Martin Slomšek in Slomo. The path leads past five crosses, which represent the sad part of the rosary, and then first to the idyllic church of St. Ožbolt and to the parish church of St. Martin on Ponikva. At Ponikva, the route continues north. After about two hours of walking through the village of Zgornji Zagaj, which was named after the local resident Mihael Zagajšek (he published the first grammar written in the Slovene language), he climbs up to the church of St. Ursula. From the church of St. Uršula's route continues via Vodul and Grušc, past the hamlet of Špitalič to the Žička monastery. From the Žička Kartusija, the route continues to Slemene, through the Brdce valley and past the place where Slomšk's mother was born, and to the Gothic church in Črešnjice. It continues through the village of Bezenškovo Bukovje to Frankolovo, from where it descends along cart and forest roads to Nova Cerkev. Length: 30 km 8-9 hours of walking Altitude difference: around 330 m
